Contingency recruitment is the phrase used to describe recruitment where we have agreed terms and conditions with clients and are supplying them with people on an “ad hoc” and as needed basis.
It usually means we focus on our network of candidates and extensive database to source suitable people for your positions rather than us advertising the position in the press on your behalf and managing the responses.
Some clients work on a contingency basis all the time as they do not feel they have the volume of recruitment requirements to warrant a more formal arrangement. However the majority of clients, once they have experience of working with us on a contingency basis, want to take advantage of our value add services and so move to a more formal arrangement (usually using us as their sole suppliers or for managing their other supplying agencies).

We do all the initial work – advertising, searching, screening and short-listing – and you choose who you want to interview.
